The  330kv Steel Tubular Tower are generally divided into five types according to their shapes: wine cup type, cathead type, upper type, dry type and barrel type, and are divided into tension tower, tangent tower, corner tower, transposition tower (to replace the phase position tower of the conductor), terminal tower and crossing tower according to their uses.

1. All tower types belong to space truss structure, and members are mainly composed of single equilateral steel pipe or composite steel pipe.
2. Generally, Q235, Q345 and Q420 are used as materials, and high-strength bolts are used to connect rods.
3. Hot galvanizing is very convenient for corrosion prevention, transportation and construction erection.
4. For the tower whose height is less than 60m, a foot nail shall be set on one of the main materials of the tower to facilitate the climbing operation of construction workers.
