According to regulations, the minimum distance between the high-voltage tower line and the ground should not be less than the following values under the maximum calculated sag:
The safe distance for high-voltage lines below 1kV is 4 meters; The safety distance of 1-10kV high-voltage lines is 6 meters; The safety distance of the 35-110kV high-voltage line is 8 meters; The safety distance of the 154-220kV high-voltage line is 10 meters; The safety distance of the 350-500kV high-voltage line is 15 meters.

In addition, from the perspective of power safety and considering the wind deviation caused by strong winds on high-voltage lines, according to Article 5 of the Implementation Rules of the Regulations on the Protection of Electric Power Facilities, the horizontal safe distance between the 500 kV high-voltage line tower and the building is 8.5 meters.
Except for high-voltage lines, the safe distance between medium voltage and low-voltage lines is:
1. Low voltage lines (380V) passing through residential areas shall not be less than 6 meters, and low voltage lines (380V) passing through non residential areas shall not be less than 5 meters;
2. Medium voltage lines (6-10kV) passing through residential areas shall not be less than 6.5 meters, and medium voltage lines (6-10kV) passing through non residential areas shall not be less than 5.5 meters;
3. The passage of 35~110kV lines through residential areas shall not be less than 7 meters, the passage of 35~110kV lines through non residential areas shall not be less than 6 meters, and the passage of 35~110kV lines through areas with difficult transportation shall not be less than 5 meters;
4. 154~220kV lines shall pass through residential areas not less than 7.5 meters, 35~110kV lines shall pass through non residential areas not less than 6.5 meters, and 35~110kV lines shall pass through areas with difficult traffic not less than 5.5 meters;
5. 330kV lines shall pass through residential areas no less than 8.5 meters, 35-110kV lines shall pass through non residential areas no less than 7.5 meters, and 35-110kV lines shall pass through areas with difficult transportation no less than 6.5 meters.
